Olivia Bottega's Own Love Story

Hey there, beautiful brides. It’s about time we shared this beautiful news with you: our very special Olivia Bottega girl just had her big moment in her dream wedding dress. You may know her— our gorgeous SMM manager who's behind all of the beautiful, aesthetic, and marvelous content we share with you daily. Here comes Kris and her cute love story, and her dream dress, of course. (Spoiler alert—lots of inspo photos ahead!)

“My now husband and I met 8 years ago when I was visiting a friend at school, and we just bumped into each other. Three months later, he texted me, and thus our love story began.”

“I always knew my perfect dress would be from Olivia Bottega, and I fell in love with the Jacqueline wedding dress long before I got my proposal. I also liked Heist sparkly dress and Fiorelia mini dress, but something about Jacqueline was truly mesmerizing to me.”

“He proposed in a really romantic setting: we were cruising on a small boat. It was quite chill, but I was not expecting it that night! He proposed in October, and I knew I had time until July to organize a wedding. I was kind of planning it so that my dream dress would make the cut. And thus, a tribute to the boat, too.”

"We settled on an outdoor venue, and I am glad I went for a convertible wedding dress! I chose the Jacqueline wedding dress with a detachable train to surprise my groom with a different look at the ceremony! I love how the mermaid silhouette emphasizes my curves, and the voluminous longer train adds dramatic luxurious vibes."

"The dress was very comfortable and a perfect fit. I customized it by adding a loop under the train so I could lift it if needed, making it very convenient to move between locations while taking pics."

"The weather was quite hot. At first, I was a little worried whether the dress might be too dense for the summer time. But the Mikado fabric was super comfy, looked flawless, felt super soft and I enjoyed it a lot."

"A longer train adds brightness to the final look and pictures. However, it can be quite challenging to move around with such a long train, which is why a detachable one is a great idea! Get your princess pictures first, and then strut around comfortably."

"Here’s a tip I’ve discovered: After a walk, a boat ride and taking photos, I noticed some dirt on the bottom of the detachable train. However, it wipes off easily with wet alcohol wipes. Carefully rub it, and no stains remain after drying, which is great!"

We are very happy for our dear bride, and our whole team wishes her endless joy and love! Thank you for sharing your beautiful day with us. Kris, congratulations on this newest, beautiful chapter in your life.
