I was very nervous to order my dress online but I couldn’t find the perfect one in real life. I decided to customize my dress so I could have a detachable skirt, which gave me 2 beautiful wedding looks! I walked down the aisle in The Koussindy (it has pockets!!!) but took off the skirt to reveal the Ramona for the reception! I got so many compliments… Even the vendors told me it was the best dress they had seen all year! Kate worked with me to make sure everything fit and was exactly as I imagined. I barely had to get the shoulders altered when I received it…And honestly would have been fine if I didn’t, but I prefer a tighter top.

I have been dreaming about this style dress since I was a little girl. Once I started my wedding dress search & came across the Ramona, I knew it was the one! The entire process was so easy & if you are skeptical about ordering a wedding dress online before actually trying it on - don't be! Make sure you have accurate measurements or someone skilled enough to get accurate measurements. When my dress arrived, it fit perfectly! I did have to end up getting it altered, due to losing weight months before my wedding. But that has nothing to do with Olivia Bottega & their custom ordering process and dress making. I felt completely beautiful on my wedding day & everyone was so shocked & in awe of how beautiful the dress itself turned out! I would recommend Olivia Bottega to anyone looking for a custom wedding dress! THANK YOU!!!

I want to know what the back side of this dress look like.

The dress fit exactly as expected, no alterations were needed regarding fit. I paid extra for a customization by removing the sleeves. This meets my expectation. However, alterations were needed to correct the way the detail on the waist band sat, a weak seam at the shoulder and the "tulle" underneath. I do not think this dress was worth the $800 cost plus the alterations needed.

1. The diamonds did not sit in a straight line due to how the "tulle" stitched in at the waist. The finish was uneven and caused the diamonds to flip up or down. My seamstress needed to trim and restitch.

2. I tried the dress on twice; once at home and once for my seamstress to review the diamond issue. The shoulder was coming undone. Seamstress needed to restitch.

3. Zipper was left long and unfinished beneath the dress. I couldn't feel it but the seamstress pointed it out.

4. The "tulle" sheet was so thick it felt like a screen. I wanted the fullness of the skirt which is why I bought the dress but I had no idea that the "tulle" was a singular piece that was a few millimeters thick. It was uncomfortable and the "pleats" didn't sit right. My seamstress ended up cutting 24" out of the tulle and it is still full. The description needs to be updated on the website.
